Legacy In The Making

Launched in 2025, the Legacy in the Making Award recognises entrepreneurs with leadership, determination and perseverance, who have been operating their business for less than 15 years. These individuals are shaping our province, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit, highlighting their community focus (volunteerism, philanthropy, service above self), and contributing to the local economy.

Recipients are changing the provincial landscape and/or have emerged as leaders in their sector. These Innovators are an inspiration, full of energy, passionate about the work they are doing, show courage, and promote change in search of the greater good.

Nova Scotia Laureates

Each year the Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame induct some of Nova Scotia’s most influential and successful leaders, change makers and entrepreneurs. These individuals showcase the province’s strength, tenacity, resiliency and courage as they helped shape our city, our province and beyond.

The inaugural Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame was held, by JA Nova Scotia, in 1993 and has become an institution of unmatched significance to the province.
