25th Anniversary of the
Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame
In 2017 we marked the 25th anniversary of the Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame! Since 1993, 89 Laureates have been inducted and 79 portraits have been sketched and hung to commemorate their stories.
This year marks a shift. Not only a shift in location to the Nova Centre for 2018, but also for the Hall of Fame. Our portraits are moving! In the months ahead, we are looking forward to presenting the design and location ideas. Many of our Laureates have been engaged in this important planning and we would like to take this opportunity to recognize: Wadih Fares, Stephen O’Regan, Allan Shaw, Frank Sobey, Steve Parker, Colin MacDonald, Michael Duck, JP Deveau, John Risley, Henry Demone, John Bragg, Joe Randell and Annette Vershuren. Thank you for your tremendous support!
Since 1993, over 300,000 students in Nova Scotia have experienced a JA program! The Business Hall of Fame is not only a critical fundraiser which sustains our programs in financial literacy, workplace readiness and entrepreneurship, it has become an extraordinary opportunity to inspire youth and engage them with current leaders. Our Laureates are incredible individuals who have worked extremely hard to achieve success. More importantly, they are individuals who inspire the same success in others. By supporting the Business Hall of Fame, you are helping to build a legacy for the next generation of leaders. They will be more prepared than ever for what is possible!
